Tanamera Paintball Park

Tanamera Paintball Park first started in December 2007 by Omar Mazlan and Dean CK Lau. It all begin when all of our friends joined together to play with their own markers. After 2 weeks, Omar and Dean decided to rent some markers to try out the recball business. Those days we only had two fields which is only Vietcong Village and the Jungle Warfare.

They rented 20 markers from a friend who is also a field operator. People started coming in by groups. Team Feskilla those days which has no name yet started being our first customers. Then came in RJB which also has no name back then as well. From then on, words was spread around about our field and slowly more people started to come in.

In February 2008, Tanamera opened up another two more fields which is Lake Placid and Killhouse. When two more fields were opened, more customers flogged in. From renting the house markers, we bought our first 40 Tippman Custom 98 Rental Markers. Our first public link was created in Facebook. The group, Tanamera Paintball Fellaz is the only source of advertisement and promotion back then until now. In February 17th, an event - Company Of Heroes was created by Paintball Maniacs where 80 over players attended which made this event the first largest group for Tanamera. Also on the same month, Dogg brought in his group, ESP as a resident team in Tanamera.

In March 2008, we moved the seating area which is currently the briefing area to the current cafe which has a seating capacity of over 100 people. Customers from all areas and company's began to come in bigger groups. Paintball Maniacs created another larger scale of event by Cookie Monster, Hasrul and Prem. With the help of their group in Facebook brought in another 120 players which mark another record breaking number of players for Tanamera.

In May 2008, we received overwhelming bookings which made us buy another 40 markers adding up to the total of 80 markers. On the same month, we held our first Tanamera Paintball House League where 9 teams of 12 men compete against each other. Those teams are :

The team that won the first Tanamera Paintball House League was team Paintball Maniacs. Came runner up was team Traitors. Team Kejahatan won the Best Sportsmanship Team where the whole team was using Tippman Custom 98 where others had their electronic markers. Since then, paintballers have requested Tanamera to make another league but due to timing and cost factor, we could only do it in 2009.

On the same day, Tanamera Paintball Field was also declared and officiated by Datuk Mazlan Harun as Tanamera Paintball Park. We are officially the largest Paintball Park in Malaysia and Asia with 7 Scenario Fields with 80 acres land.

On 31st August 2008, marked another history breaking number of players where 200 players came to support our Merdeka Event.

From then on, bookings that we received from corporate sectors, teams and newbies came in heavily. We started off with our Regular Customers as Marshals where our management would like to thank them for making Tanamera Paintball Park a success in the Paintball industry. With the good relationship with the players, some of them came during the weekends to help us out marshaling in Tanamera Paintball Park. Dogg was appointed as the Chief De Mission in Tanamera for being one of the most outstanding marshals.

Our current regular Marshals such as Dogg and team ESP, Sani, Goh, Hasrul and team PBM, Abu, Phat, Najib and team El Juego(EJPC), Wan, David Blood, and our Secretariat, Dina has helped brought our 1st Anniversary a success event of the year in paintball history in Malaysia which was held on 21st December 2008. More than 360 players attended the event where 4 games were created.

The first big game was at Lake Placid where 170 VS 170 players which was led by 2 Generals, Tunku Alizan from team EJPC and Ujang from team Apache. The second game was Heart Attack where 80 players defended the Hill and 280 people attacking from below. The third game was Search and Destroy, a combination of Vietcong Village and the Jungle where again with the same amount of players defending the Jungle. The fourth game was held at the Polo Field and also one of a kind which has never been played in Malaysia, the Civil War where 120 VS 120 players on a 10 acres polo Field. The event ended with a big success.
